At The Gadget Xchange, we stand behind the quality of the products we sell. This Warranty Statement explains the warranty coverage available on devices purchased from us.
1. Warranty Coverage
All devices sold by The Gadget Xchange are covered by warranty, subject to the terms below.
Pre-Loved Devices
All pre-loved (used or refurbished) devices sold by our in-store team are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.
New Devices
All new devices are covered by a 12-month warranty.
Where applicable, this will be the standard manufacturer’s warranty, provided directly by the manufacturer.
2. What the Warranty Covers
The warranty covers:
Manufacturing defects
Hardware faults that occur under normal use
Any issue covered by warranty will be assessed by our team or the manufacturer, depending on the device.
3. What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty does not cover:
Accidental damage (including drops, cracks, or liquid damage)
Normal wear and tear
Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorised repairs
Software issues not related to a hardware fault
4. Making a Warranty Claim
To make a warranty claim, you must:
Contact the store where the device was purchased, or
Email our team at info@thegadgetxchange.co.uk
You will be required to provide proof of purchase.
All warranty claims are subject to inspection and approval.
5. Warranty Resolution
If a fault is confirmed and covered under warranty:
The device may be repaired, replaced, or refunded, at our discretion
For new devices, you may be referred directly to the manufacturer where required
The resolution will depend on the nature of the fault and product availability.
6. Consumer Rights
This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer law. Your legal rights are not affected.
